Create an agent

Four steps in the portal. Accept saves a Draft. Leaving does not.

1

Describe what the agent should do

Open Agents → Create agent. Say the job in plain language: who it helps, what a good answer looks like, and whether it chats, runs a task, or routes to other agents. The builder proposes a name, type, and instructions. You Accept when the proposal is right.

2

Add integrations

Drag a connected data source or Custom MCP into the chat, or open the catalogue to create one. The builder can place that connection in the agent. Credentials stay on the connection.

3

Add preferred models

The models tray lists what your organisation has enabled. Click one to prefer it. Add more from Business Center → Models.

4

Output structures

Tell the builder which fields the reply should contain. That contract is written into the agent instructions when you Accept.

Output structures

Do not paste API keys, tokens, or passwords into Agent Builder chat. Configure Lumina MCP from the portal MCP page, and keep integration secrets on the connection.
